Michelle Smith joined Big Rock Legacy Law Group in August 2025 after graduating with honors from the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. During law school, she served on the Editorial Board of the UA Little Rock Law Review, where her published comment, Centering Counternarratives: The Need for Enhanced Law and Literature Curriculum in Arkansas Law Schools to Remedy a History of Dispossession, was recognized as the 2024–25 Student-Authored Publication of the Year.

Michelle earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and an M.A. in English from the University of Central Arkansas before attending law school. The daughter of two lifelong educators, she was raised with a deep belief in the power of knowledge to transform communities. That foundation continues to shape her approach to the law—blending critical analysis with compassion and advocacy. At Big Rock Legacy Law Group, she is devoted to helping clients safeguard what matters most, so the legacies they build remain strong for generations.
